ATHENA CODING

RoboCreators: Engineering Adventures
In this exciting robotics program, students in grades K-6 will dive into the world of Lego WeDo to explore engineering, coding, and problem-solving in a fun and interactive way. Using the intuitive Lego WeDo kits, participants will construct dynamic models like motion-sensing alligators, roaring lions, and racing cars, all while learning the fundamentals of robotics and programming.
Through engaging, hands-on projects, students will discover how motors, sensors, and basic coding come together to make their creations come to life. They'll write simple programs using drag-and-drop software to make their robots move, react, and even solve challenges like navigating obstacle courses or performing specific tasks.
This program emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork as students collaborate to design and refine their robotic inventions. Along the way, they’ll gain foundational STEM skills in a supportive, exciting environment that encourages experimentation and innovation. Whether they’re building a robot that can dance or programming a vehicle to speed across the room, young engineers will leave inspired and ready to tackle new challenges!
